Part 3 of the Ontario Building Code provides requirements for the health and safety of the occupants. This program promotes the skills needed by a capable Part 3 building inspector. This program is also relevant to engineers, architects and technologists as the information presented is essential to their fields. This program is not intended to replace the services provided by the general review professionals retained by the owner as per Subsection 2.3.2 of the Ontario Building Code. This training manual focuses on low-rise buildings., with conventional construction techniques and materials.
